InterContinental Presidente Cozumel Resort Spa, an IHG Hotel

The resort is better than it looks in pictures. Service was prompt and excellent throughout. We travelled with our older parents and little kids and everyone had a great time. Water is crystal clear and calm. We were in the garden view rooms across from the second “quiet” pool, which happened to be heated, it was just perfect. Worked out better than being in ocean front rooms thanks to the calm and tranquil atmosphere. Each room has a large patio. The resort was unlike other big resorts that tend to be so busy and commercial. No wait times for dinner, or any meal service. Will definitely visit again!

We had a sewage backup TWICE during our stay. Fecal matter bubbled up and into our bathroom in two separate places. It stunk terribly and we had to vacate the room for hours while the staff cleaned. After the second occurrence we asked to be moved and were placed in a similar room aside for the lack of a king bed. We had to sit around for almost two hours while the room was made up for us. This new room had two beds which was pretty unromantic considering I proposed to my then girlfriend during our stay. While I did get a “yes” the hotel only offered us a $100 credit and chocolate covered strawberries that were unfortunately covered in coconut. We both thought (as well as our friends and families) that this was pretty insulting considering the human waste in our room. Our trip was a small fortune, so it’s fair to say we’ll probably never come back to this resort.

Wonderful property with wonderful staff. Thank you for a great time. Everyone was very accommodating. Very good for children. My four year old had a great time at the beach, pool and play area. We will be back

I’m a scuba diver, the onsite dive shop Scuba Du is first rate! The hotel is perfect, if a little expensive for their restaurants. Highly recommended to all, including families. We were on Spring Break with 8 & 11 year old boys who loved the resort. There is great snorkeling directly off the beach. Definitely best hotel in Cozumel.

Liked everything. Did not like people not watching their children at the beach and pool.

Very professional staff , I will definitely come back . Everyone welcomes you with smile . If u looking for all inclusive , you won’t be satisfied no all inclusive options . You have to pay for everything u do there my room had breakfast included . Jet ski was avg 67usd for 30 mins I had to pay 22 usd daily service charges . They have four resturant food quality is 5 to 7 stars . Avg launch or dinner per two adults and kid like 150 usd to 250 usd . Over all I am happy with my visit .

Great hotel. I stayed for 7 days. You don’t need to leave the hotel unless you really want to explore Cozumel Island. Great staff, food, and service. Snorkeling, scuba diving, jet skis, and 3 restaurants all at the hotel. If you have a car rental, you can park it in the guest parking lot. They have a great spa. We did the Temazcal experience, it was pricey, (400$ usd) but it was a great experience. Room service is available as well, great food and service. The pool is very nice and has a great view to watch the sunset. The gym definitely needs some new equipment. Some of the equipment didn’t work and the smith machine was flimsy, but the view outside the gym is great. If you need a taxi or any kind of transportation, they will call one for you. They have two areas you can snorkel/ swim on the beach. The area next to the lifeguard stand is very deep and has many beautiful views of fish and reef. The other area is more kid friendly, but does get deeper once you go past the Le Cap. Overall I would rate 4.5/5. It’s a very beautiful hotel with many things to do. It’s very peaceful, quiet, and many options of food/ drinks. It is pricey, but very well worth it. I will definitely will be back.

My family and I had a wonderful time at El Presidente Intercontinental this past week. The staff are friendly and courteous, the hotel grounds stunning, and the views are breathtaking. We can’t wait to return in the near future.

Excellent resort in every way. Amazing beach, rooms, food. Worth the money. Will not be dissapointed. Top class. Will come again for sure. Stayed with family. Staff are amazing.
