The hotel was pretty empty on this season so we had the pool all for ourselves. The kids definitely enjoyed this. The food options were good enough and the prices affordable.

We stayed here while visiting family. They do not speak English so be prepared for that. The facilities and people are wonderful. The food is OK, not great. The pool is fantastic but if you are there like us during a Mexican spring break or holiday, be prepared there is not enough seating. Actually probably the best place to stay in Ajijic!

Lovely property, great views out over Lake Chapala. Rooms are well-sized, built in two-story clusters. Convenient seating areas dot the propery, as do ramps by most stairs. It is not made clear to guests that the eating and drinking facilities are not owned by the hotel. You go to breakfast & are asked a room number, you leave your table assuming you will be billed. Instead someone runs after you, or the last to leave of a group is presented with a bill for everyone. Very few English speakers on the staff, adding to the confusion. We were a large family group, visiting for a wedding, and we had endless problems. They really wanted to be paid in cash, not by credit card. The air conditioner in our room did not work at all. We had a fan, which was sufficient, but others reported non-functional AC, too.

Overall hotel is nice however the air conditioner weren’t working, my door lock wasn’t working properly and I came back to my door being open, my family rented out several rooms for a family function and nobody was happy due to issues related to air conditioner, lack of staff caring to fix issues and just overall lying saying they will fix and they don’t

Loved the view of the lake. Lovely pool. Grounds are lovely. Ample parking. Large lovely room. Pool table in the beautiful lobby. Bed a bit hard. Shower had lots of hot water but nozzle needed adjusting. No cell phone plug ins near the beds. Didn’t eat at restaurant. Restaurant seemed a bit pricey but looked nice. Pool was right under our window and was noisy at times with screaming little kids. It was a weekend. Would be quiet through the week. Generally a quiet hotel.

Definitely a good choice, clean, comfortable, the view amazing, excellent service. But the restaurant is terrible, we were at the restaurant for breakfast for about an hour and we never get the meals, worst service ever, i asked for the food for my one year old baby and I was literally ignored. The first night we were at the restaurant also but for dinner they said they didn’t have service. If you stay at the property consider that you’ll have to go outside for food and there are a lot of traffic so take your time.

Large, lovely property with spacious rooms and a spectacular view of the lake. Exceptionally helpful staff. The hotel is in a very nice residential neighborhood. It’s a bit of a hike from restaurants, but the hotel restaurant is quite good and reasonably priced, although the menu is somewhat limited. Our 2nd floor lake view room was very large and comfortable, but with no outside terrace and no refrigerator. Shower did not have hot water but everything else was great. The hotel is apparently popular with young families so it was not always quiet and the jacuzzi was being used as a kiddie pool most of our stay. All-in-all, though, a good experience.
