I believe this was our 4th visit to Marina Fiesta. I enjoy fishing and the close proximity to the marina makes this a very convenient location. Check in was a breeze. Very efficient service by the front desk team. Had a short wait for our room but we arrived well before the stated check-in time and were grateful to get into the room early. We reserved a room with a queen bed (only option) and were surprised when the clerk advised we would be in a room with king sized bed. This was fine with us. We were skeptical when we were told the room was on the first floor but we figured we would have a look and if it did not suit us we would ask to be moved. When we got to the room (108) we were located directly, and I mean directly across from the kiddy water playground. I was thinking maybe this the Expedia booking purgatory room but at the end of the day we only had visitors to the kids area once and it was in the afternoon. Lot's of tykes having fun in the water and you could clearly hear their enthusiasm. So what could have been a real pain turned out to be nothing we could not handle. Ran the sink in the bathroom and found a pretty good sizes water leak out of the hot water faucet. We rang the front desk and they said they would have someone come take a look shortly. Someone from the maintenance team arrived about 15 minutes later and was able to quickly fix the problem. Duly impressed with the speed and efficiency of this service.

I got a small room instead of 1bed room even though we paid for it, so I had to complain at the front desk because they had different information about my reservation. So many items we couldn’t order from the restaurant;( Our Room was next to a bar so it was very loud till 11:00 pm and my kids couldn’t sleep till then. Pool area and the location was good.

Our family of 4 just stayed at the Marina Fiesta for the first time and wow, we cant say enough about this resort. We had a really rough day of traveling missing our flight and baggage to get there and the Staff was so amazing and was so helpful. Wendy the manager of the resort went above and beyond for us and we cant thank her enough for everything she did for us during this trip. I have already told so many people while we were there and when we got home that we have stayed at several resorts in Cabo and hands down this is our favorite place and we will be back as soon as possible, hopefully with our baggage this time. Thank you Marina Fiesta for being there for my family on our vacation, you smiling happy faces every day and quickness of helping in every direction made our trip.

Managers at breakfast every morning were downright rude!! Even good tips on the first day did not change their attitudes. Rooms are not made for more than two people. Still a large gathering of family made it fun!

We paid to upgrade to the ‘all Inclusive option as we do on every trip we take. The ease of eating at the included restaurants, and ability for us and our kids to eat whatever they want, whenever we want. THIS WAS NOT TRUE AT Marina Fiesta. We were limited on what we were allowed to order, how much we could eat, we couldn’t make a plate at the breakfast buffet and bring it to our kids who were enjoying the ability to sleep in on our vacation.. so they missed breakfast.. that WE PAID AHEAD FOE IN THE ALL INCLUSIVE OPTION! We were also told when eating at restaurants once they saw our wrist band, that they either had no availability, or we could wait at a table but they wouldn’t be able to help up for anywhere from 25 min to an hour. We were told that at three different restaurants.. and mind you, there were DOZENS of open tables the the two hour process that never filled up! We are so extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in Marina Fiesta and their all inclusive package. We are very well traveled, and take at least one trip a year to all inclusive resorts in Costa Rica, different cities in Mexico, Hawaii, and the Bahamas, and we have NEVER been treated like this or experienced such limitations, when we upgrade and pay extra to not have any.

We stayed at the property for a week on one of thier all inclusive deals for a family vacation. In general the hotel is nice and clean. What really bothered us though was the service in the invluded eating establishments. The breakfast crew was fine...but its a buffet so not much personal service needed. But most of the rest of the resteraunts staff was pretty unprofessional. Long waits to get your order in and then to get your food. There were a few exceptions. The manager at the steak house was the best. I think he jad his hands full trying to push the staff but he was a real pleasure to be around. Another man named Alexis at the Italian restaurant was also very good. Our lasteal at the Baja lobster company was also good. The staff inside seemed to be motivated and took good care of us.

We arrived on a Friday afternoon and were told that the hotel didn’t have any rooms until Sunday. They gave us a 300 dollar voucher ands room at their “sister hotel” 20 mins back up the road out of town. We were told to come back Sunday and our room would be available. While this is not how we wanted to start our trip what else could we do. On Sunday marina fiesta did have us a junior suite ready and it was lovely. They also gave us 2 free massages and comped our pool tab which was a bonus. We loved the location of this hotel and it’s within walking distance to everything in los cabos. Would stay again but call the day of to ensure a room is available before arriving.

The food at the restaurants were not the best. The menus were inviting but did not really enjoy. I had to call for towels and wash cloths twice during my 5 night stay. We visited the sister hotel which was much better. Loved the infinity pool and the restaurants. The pool at Marina was dirty very cloudy and cold. The water is deep and not inviting to non swimmers. The pool does not indicate how deep the pool is all around. There was a terrible mishap and my husband almost drowned. We brought this to their attention and they said they will address. It is definitely a liability and i was terrified for the children. My spa with Kelley was simply amazing. If you select all inclusive all of the restaurants have a chef speciality on the menu. Everything under that category is additional money and not included for the all inclusive package. Very annoying. You are not aloud to eat at the pool area and cannot bring drinks to your room. Overall i enjoyed my vacation but mist likely will Not return to this resort.

This was a great hotel. It's small but we'll kept and clean. It's right on the marina which is great for sightseeing. This isn't a mega resort so if u want 5 buffets options with 10 pools this might not be for you. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The one buffet is quality and clean. They have deals with a couple restaurants on the marina where you can eat as part of the all inclusive. The sky bar is relaxing after we tucked the kids in we went up each night for a night cap. You can also hop on their shuttle to their sister hotel the hacienda encanto if you want the mega resort feeling. We sent the say at the hacienda for the day and had a great sushi lunch by the pool. This is also a part of the all inclusive package.
