Grands Suites Hotel Residences & SPA

I've stayed first week of July, during family holidays. The apartment is new, in modern style and clean. The air-condition is working well. I was moved from 10th floor to 9th floor, due to overnight noise from top pool, as I am lightsleeper. Staff is kind. Plenty restaurants, take-aways, coffee shops and shops in the walking distance. Promenade alongside the cost. Walking distance to Sliema and and St Julian. Great place for family holidays. Fully recommended.

This is a lovely hotel, with a spa and an outdoor rooftop pool with beautiful views. Good location, away from the hustle from the main strip. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend this place. The only downside for us was, that we had a family suite, which was actually one large room with a set of wardrobes dividing it into 2 bedrooms, but the wardrobes don't block out the light or sound from one room to the other. So everyone has to go to bed at the same time, even the use of a mobile device the light shines through to the next room and the sound really carries. It just needs to be designed better.

This was a well located stay to go off and visit the island hot spots. The rooms were clean and spacious although not separated by a proper wall (wardrobes were the separation and didn’t reach the ceiling) which meant privacy wasn’t great. The kitchen was ample to cook meals in when needed and the staff were very helpful. The pool was ok to sit in and look at the view but not big enough to swim in and didn’t open til 9am. It was very very busy in the afternoons with big school groups of teenagers. I’d say this is more a hotel for adults vs children, but that didn’t matter much as it was so hot that we went out to do day trips every day. The spa pool is in the basement and I imagine would be great to go to in winter when you don’t mind not seeing the sun.
