We stayed 2 nights, left for a night to Gozo, and then returned for 4 nights. We had a standard room booked but were upgraded to a family room. Big mistake. I won't dwell on that because after letting our displeasure known, we were told that we would have a room with a balcony. A window was what we wanted. Well the next room was very nice. Comfortable. Had a shower we could fit in. Very happy with the room.

Location of the hotel is good as central to many points of interest. Hotel not really suited for families as lots of drinking establishments nearby and party ever night at the aqua lido as DJ be playing till 2 am so loud for me living on 5th floor. Also telephone and network intermittent and reported this on Weds evening, duty manager and technician came looked and never followed up to fix the job. We had breakfast with our stay and main disappointment was options. Not much fruit or continental stile breakfast. The housekeeper Mica was really good helpful and friendly and deserve special mention. Service was excellent.

It was overall okay we had The family room which was practical bed wise. The bed is very hard though. And The only window they had was leading out to like some pipe leak system. The smell was horrific if we opened The window.

They upgraded our room to a family room - benefitting us more space and windows for our room. Stuff we’re friendly and helped us about our stay and where to see etc.

We had a really good stay with an amazing view towards the beautiful sea. We started with a regular family room, and if you want to stay at this hotel I would definitely recommend paying extra for a seafront. The regular room we had first was not much to make of, and I would not recommend. The breakfast wasn’t either so good, some mornings even cold eggs and beans. But if you pay for the balcony towards the sea I would say that evens out everything
