Very clean if a little tired. Great for children ( nice pool). Good value and gorgeous lush surround.

The swimming pools super good enough for 2yrs kiddos

It was very hot when we arrived in Kuala Lumpur, but pulling up to the resort, it looked very nice. The landscaping was beautiful. The staff were friendly and the welcome drink was delicious. They also provided us with cold towels to help cool off from the heat. Once checked in, we proceeded to our room. It was like being in a sauna as soon as we stepped in. The room's electricity is controlled by the room key. But there is no central air circulating throughout the room when it's not occupied. So it's basically a hot box. We immediately turned the AC on as cold as possible, as fast as possible. The room eventually cooled down, but we had to leave the electricity running while we went for dinner and a swim. The rooms could use some renovations. I don't think they've been updated for at least 15 to 20 years. The resort had 3 restaurants and 3 pools (kids, upper and lower pools). The food at the Italian restaurant was not good, but the staff were really nice. I cannot speak on the others, as we didn't eat at them. The pool area was nice, but there were not many lounge chairs to use. The waterfall was pretty. The doors to enter the room are on the outside. So when people ordered room service or had a full trash can, they put it outside the door, which just didn't seem like a good idea given the heat and possible animals that could scurry about. All in all, I would not stay here again or recommend it, but we did only stay one night, so it wasn't the end of the world.
