Movenpick Resort and Spa Dead Sea

I was amazed, literally from the minute I walk into the reception, even dealing with reception and front office manager assistant, which is they upgrade my room they gave me beach view , the Infinity pools for the families and the adults are clean and amazing even specially around the property with the golf cart . Night party was amazing and breakfast was delicious and a lot of variety of food. Top notch service and food

Its absolutely beautiful and worth the splurge for a Dead Sea experience. They have it set up reallt nicely. Many pools. They had a kids pool as well.

Well, to start with, I'm Jordanian, and I live in the USA. I wanted to take my family to one of the best hotels in the dead sea. The staff were super nice. We indeed spent a lot of money. We rented four rooms (2 family rooms), one for my sister and her family, and one for my family. We walked into the room, and they were not clean. First, there were french fries on the floor, just laying there. Second, our towels had brown streaks on them. We opted for the option of eating at the buffet, and some of us caught a horrible stomach bug after that. We decided to do a late check out, and they were supposed to keep our cards active. First, they said we would have to all go into a single room. I clearly said that was unnacceptable. They then gave us a late checkout for 2 PM. We got the kids out of the pool at 1 pm (since we had a driver booked to pick us up at 2 pm), and headed over to our room. To our surprise our keys stopped working. We called the reception to send our keys to our room, and mind you, with a 4 year old and an 8 year old, waiting in the worst heat wave in Jordan, it took them 20 minutes to get our room opened for us. At the checkout, I decided to speak with the hotel manager, and he said "Sorry, we cannot do anything for you". I cannot stress about how negative of an experience we had. I'm surprised, as well as disappointed. We spent over 1000 dollars for two nights, and we received this negative of an experience. My kids enjoyed their stay due to the pool.

The resort is extremely beautiful, unfortunately the staff doesn't quite give guests the 5 star treatment. They lost my reservation, they forgot to provide any of my VIP status benefits, nor did they compensate me in any way for the stress they unduly placed on me through their mistake. The staff was smiling all the time and tried to pretend to be friendly, but they did not seem very efficient at meeting my needs. The room they placed our family in was too small, they did not provide the right number of cups and other things for the number of guests checked in and the shower outflow was sluggish. The management invested a lot in the facilities but not enough in the training and selection of the staff.

Average for a five star resort. Many facilities closed: beauty saloon, kids club, family infinite pool (2/4 days), Japanese restaurant. A lot of mosquitos everywhere and they didn’t seem to have a way to manage, maybe putting some fans in the beach would help.

Very nice hotel and well maintained. Staffs are helpful and courteous. Upon my arrival with 2 kids they upgraded my room for free. Great selection of breakfast items. A little disappointment was, I asked them to give me a top floor with a good view 4 months ago when I paid for the room but they failed to deliver.

the only good thing about this hotel is the pool that is very kids friendly other than that rooms were not properly clean, water cattle was broken, molds in the toilet, shower box was broken, and I had night Suprise visitor in the room called cockroaches. I will never come back to this hotel.

MOST AMAZING resort at the Dead Sea … the resort staff are kind professional friendly and simply the best … I LOVE my room overlooking the natural habitat of this intoxicatingly rich architecture… it feels like an ancient city in JORDAN … highly recommend Movenpick to my friends and family… the food is marvelous too… the pools are FUN
