This property was just amazing, to be honest the staff who worked there made this property stand out and make my stay amazing. The property itself was beautiful and exceeded my expectation but what stood out the most was the staff , from the moment you get on the property all the staff are tentative to all the details of how to make your stay amazing , I can’t remember the name of the person who checked us in but he was amazing and I just want to say thank you to all the staff who helped make our stay amazing from the valet , doormen , cleaning staff and kind gentleman at the obelisk restaurant (yahya) who helped us have an amazing dinner and was very helpful with information about the property and things to do . I will definitely be coming back and recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a couples retreat or a family setting getaway , also my wife had an amazing time at the spa which made her very relaxed.

Not a lot for kids, no playground or waterslides, no shaded pool. Family duplex did not have a hair dryer. Golf cart service was slow. Service and amenities were closer to 4 stars than 5, food was average.

Everything was great. Wonderful palce with great facilities. We have been with two little kids age 2 and 4 and half. The guys at the breakfast and dinner were really great, especially Yahya and Zaher to be mentioned. The housekeeping kept our room clean and tidy. Thanks to Laith Yousef. We would like to mention Maher the lifeguard too. We had message at the extraordinary spa. Sakunda and the other lady were really professional.

Excellent facility. I think it’s the best on the area. Good for families with special arrangements for kids in the kids club.

5 out of 5 stars

The nicest 5 star resort in Jordon's Dead Sea area. We stayed in the family compound with had a loft with a king bed and a lower level with a roll out couch/bed and single bed. The room was massive, like an apartment. My only ding would be these rooms have no view, you are looking at the back of the rooms with Dead Sea views. The downstairs bathroom is only a ½ bath. They have a walk in closet that they should combine with the ½ bathroom to make a full downstairs bath with shower. The room itself though is very cool, almost Japanese modern. The resort is also very clean and luxurious. The buffet for dinner was decent, but not as good as the Kempinski property we stayed at at the Red Sea. Breakfast was great though. They have a full "beach" area with a service bar to help guests through the Dead Sea process of floating, then mudding up, then floating again. They have lounge chairs and towel service right at the beach. They do a lot to take care of the guest and make the experience special.

We are a family of 4 and stayed in the family duplex. It was really cool and very close to the pools/lazy river especially. The rooms are sharp and clean and convenient. I liked that they walk around and give you free bottles of water and some mini-refreshments (shots of strawberry juice, watermelon slices..etc). It's a 5 star hotel and doesn't disappoint. Only thing we were bummed about was the belly dancer wasn't schedule for the night we were there but the live music at the terrace was still really good and what an enjoyable place to sit at night with a hookah and dinner/snacks. Highly recommend. Every year we go to Jordan we make sure we go to Kempinski DeadmSea and no other.

Not suitable for family with small kids. Some staff are not trained well and actions were so slow. Safety box was broken and we couldn't go out for 3 hours to wait for repair. It is too expensive against the service level. Costs for restaurants are also too expensive.

We enjoyed our stay very much with our kids, very beautiful hotel, extremely well maintained, excellent place to relax over looking the calm dead sea, breakfast was very good, the staff was very nice, they did everything they can to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. few minor issues we had, the floor of our room (all tile) was not very clean as we entered the room, but as soon as we asked to get it cleaned, it was. also the back door exiting to the garden was not locking, we asked to get it fixed but it was not. The security to enter the hotel was annoying, you feel like you are entering a highly secure area or boarding a plane, but to be fair all hotels in Jordan are the same in regards to security. finally, they do not allow to bring in into the hotel any bottle of alcoholic beverage? but over all it was very nice relaxing stay and I will come back again

We went to stay in this hotel before our wedding. Despite contacting the hotel before hand and letting them know, we were put into a very pokey and substandard room. We had to complain and had to look at a further 3 rooms before anything close to resembling 5 star. Needless to say, avoid this hotel at ALL costs. They are expensive, they certainly do not deserve 5 stars. The buffet was expensive and so was the breakfast. Also a very drab atmosphere. The only reason this gets a good mark is that the workers there were superb -- mainly the bell boys and valets. The management seems very out of touch with hotel service. We stayed at the Movenpick last time and it was MILES better and cheaper.... our other family stayed in the Marriott and that was a good (if middle-America) hotel and good for people with kids. So take my word. Avoid this. I dont usually write reviews but I wish someone would have written this before I booked. Enjoy Jordan, it is an amazing place!
