Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo Roppongi

Location of this hotel was excellent - just a 2 minute walk from the metro and tons of restaurants, bars and clubs starting from just a few steps away. We had two adjoining rooms for our family of four. They were clean and the beds were quite comfortable. The staff were very polite and welcoming from the check-in desk to the restaurant. Our rate included breakfast - which is different to what we normally expect from a hotel breakfast. The buffet included scrambled eggs, boiled/steamed bacon, weiners, chicken nuggets, chips (fries), steamed mackerel, potato salad, green salad, boiled eggs, takoyaki, fried cheese croquettes and some other options. We stayed in two different hotels in Japan and realized this is normal :) Prepare to be super organized in your room. The rooms are very small. There are no closets or drawers, no space for large suitcases, luckily we had medium sized and no carry on bags. One suitcase went on the desk and we squeezed one onto the suitcase rack. All TV is in Japanese unless you pay for English content - take a cable to hook up your phone to the TV if you're spending time in the room. No chairs to sit on or table. We spent the whole day out and only went to the room to sleep so it wasn't too bad. I would stay there again. For us the priority was staying in a good location and clean hotel and this met both of those criteria.

I have family near and this typical business hotel met my needs. The breakfast buffet is cold & scrambled are always a bit runny.
