InterContinental Tokyo Bay, an IHG Hotel

Stay for one night before flight back to US and a 2 days trip from Nikko. Stayed in this place before on multiple business trips because of the location (also member to the hotel chain). Came to Tokyo with family (wife and daughter)this time. Booked the room for 3 people with bay view. Arrived late (9pm) due to trip delay. Found room was only partially prepared for 3 people. Had 3 slippers but only 2 sets of towels and 2 bottles of water. Clock radio next to the bed was so age that you could barely read the time. Since the in-house restaurants were closed, had to go out to get dinner. Went to the front desk and informed them about the towels issue. Came back after to find a bag of towels was hanged at door instead of inside the bathroom. Overall disappointed in the level of service and the upkeep of the hotel. Things like this would not have happened before.

Really enjoyed our stay. I am very please with the staff. Everyone has been very nice and helpful. As soon as you walk in the lobby you are greeted with smiling faces ready to assist you. My family was really glad that front desk person speaks english well and we are also happy for having english channels on television because our last two hotels everything was japanese channels. I also want to mentioned that i was happy that there was an nespresso machine inside the room. I really enjoy the complimentary coffee. The room was very neat and clean. The bathroom was very neat and clean as well. The tiles, mirrors and the shower room was spotless. The lampshade was a little dusty but thats not a big deal. The bed was very comfortable. Overall we really enjoy our stay. Now im thinking about becoming a member of this hotel chain.
