Hotel Intergate Tokyo Kyobashi

loved the location! the hotel is literally connected to a family mart - super super convenient. the free cocktails and pancakes at the nighttime were amazing and the location is so good. the staff were friendly and attentive. upgraded to a superior room and would recommend as the room was spacious.

Location is great!! Very close walking distance to tokyo station!! Few shopping stores around. 7eleven around the corner and family mart store just below the hotel.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Location location location is the best description !!! The location is great since we are 6-7 mins waking to and from Tokyo Station. Very safe surroundings walkable at any time of day. Beautiful cherry blossoms about 2 blocks down close to tokyo station street Yaesu exit (i believe south exit) Down stairs on one corner you just below the hotel you will find a family mart store and on the other corner a 7-eleven. To my suprise they have free coffee amd tea at certain hours and complimentary rice soup at nights. I will appreciate if under the hotel amenities please clarify that there is Laundry service on weekdays ONLY and not an available laundry inside the actual place.

Overall stay went well, with a few minor things to note. Would definitely stay here again, though -Positive: close to many train stations (2 minute walk, 10-12 minutes walk to Tokyo station), family mart on 1st floor, close to a 7-11, staff was able to communicate with enough English, staff helped me set up the luggage forward service to my next hotel, staff held my bags for me on more than one occasion (when I arrived to Japan before check in and on my last day. Checked out at 11 but my flight home wasn’t until 7PM. Staff held my luggage for me until about 4:30). Area felt safe for me as a solo female traveler. Good area. 10 minute walk to Ginza. Great value for what you pay. Breakfast buffet is good. Throughout the day they offer certain free things to guests (coffee, happy hour, etc). Things to note: room is small but apparently that’s is how most rooms are in Japan. I couldn’t figure out how to put the shower curtain and some water would escape and wet the bathroom floor (water for the bath mat wet. No view, which for me doesn’t matter. Outside the window you can see the concrete wall of the next building, which is super close. Didn’t have to use the AC so not sure about that. Stayed here two separate times. First room was clean and second room has some scuffs on the wall and a small stain on the curtain (not a big deal to me). No laundry but there is a laundromat about 10 minutes away. Hotel offers laundry service at an additional charge. Overall, great value!

There are many other feasible choices in the area, and I can’t recommend for the following reasons/experiences: Cons: • Not once they have actually changed the sheets during my entire stay! • When asked for the security safe’s battery to be replaced, the clark asked if it’s ok they go ahead and open it after I go about.. then what is the point of security? I stayed on site to make sure this gets done with me witnessing. And since he looked right at the 4-digit code, I had to change it right after of course • the room service doesn’t sweep or vacuum the floor, things from the first day remained until my very last day • room size was much smaller even by Japanese standard. • foul odor from the bathroom floor drain (backed up drain line?) was very unpleasant even with the vent fan running constantly • distance to JR Tokyo station is quite far, not realistic for elderly or families with young children Pro: • there’s that convenience store right on the ground level that is open 24/7 • if you plan to travel primarily using Ginza Line Metro, the entrance/exit is within feet

Well located to two metro station under five minutes walk and only ten minutes walk from Tokyo station. Two 711 nearby and family Mart attached to hotel. 9 minutes walk to matsuya Ginza to join our tour.

I don’t understand how this place gets such a high review rate. Many tourists stayed there with kids and the elevators were small. Room is much smaller than it looks on the website. The bathroom starts to smell the moment you turn off the fan. Meanwhile the fan’s so loud that you can’t sleep with it on. There’s technically a window but not really. The wall of the building next to this hotel is one hand away. This hotel might belong to Donald Trump. The breakfast starts at 7am and you must eat it there, no take out like many other hotels in Japan. Just be aware of it if you have an early flight to catch.
