Hotel The Grandee Shinsaibashi

Booked a twin room, very clean and spacious. Amenities were beyond expectations in terms of what you get from the standard. Even had a toddler/kid bathroom set with their own toothbrush, sponge and rubber ducky, and you get a new set everyday. Very thoughtful and well equipped. Bathroom was amazing with spa included. Highly recommended. Location is good, not fantastic as you need to walk through a few red light district alleyways and blocks. In saying that, you still feel safe as it is well lit and many tourist around.

We're a family of four and we had two premium twin rooms on the 2nd floor which meant a total of FOUR double beds (one each, what bliss!). The rooms are enormous by Japanese standards with a sofa, a wet room complete with spa tub (big enough for two), separate toilet and a mini kitchenette inside a wardrobe incase you need a microwave, fridge or espresso (4 pods supplied daily). There's minimal natural light as the hotel is sandwiched between two other buildings but the in-room lighting is fine and you can guarantee a quality sleep. The TV was HUGE with on demand movies, but we didn't spend any time watching these as there was so much to see and do in Osaka. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again. All the staff were super lovely and helpful.
