Hiyori Hotel Osaka Namba Station

Good stay over all, rooms are small. Hot springs were great especially after walking all day. The only complaint is that some people didn't respect silence and brought their screeming kids into the baths.

Booked 2 x Moderate Double Room with breakfast. We are a family of four (2 adults and 2 teens). Rooms are nice a roomy, both rooms had 2 single beds. One room had a small lounge. The foot massage was great use, all hotels should have this in Japan! Beds are comfy and bathroom are good size with bathtub. Night wear (pajama) are provided. Laundry facility in Level 7. Location is perfect, so many eateries and McDonald’s just across the hotel. Buffet breakfast is so good, many choices of Japanese and western food - worth it! Reception was very professional and efficient. Amenities bar next to reception. Easy walk to all the tourist spots - Dotonbori, Kuromon Market, Yasaka Shrine and Round 1 Stadium. Our flights were not till late so we were able to leave our luggages and still enjoy our last day checking out other sites till we had to go to the airport. Easy access to go to Kansai airport from Namba Station (no need to change train - just straight there - Nankai Line 45 mins Y970).

poor, in room safety deposit box out of order, no in room phone so we cannot contact our family members by room to room phone, no wake up call services. Will not comes back again.

The only reason why I took one star off is because if you book a 3-person room they just add a futon on the ground - this makes the room extremely cramped. The same room for 2 people would be perfect and spacious. For 2 people there would be enough space to leave luggage’s open on the ground. For 3 pax we had to make sure of all available counter space. Very near namba station about 5 min walk. Next door has ippudo, short walk to Takashimaya at Namba and 2 family marts nearby with numerous small eateries. Shampoo, soap, toner, facial wash, tooth brush, bedroom slippers were all provided. Beds were clean and comfortable. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was acceptable. I would stay again.

This hotel is close to Namba station. A great location to have as you explore Osaka. Room was large, comfortable, and spacious. We booked a double and the bed had enough space for 2 adults, 1 child, and more. The room came with a foot massager. Breakfast was good, very diverse variety of options. Dining room was not very big and there was sometimes a short wait to get in. Would stay here again.
