The hotel location is good, next to Marutamachi Station subway (Karasuma line from Kyoto station). Next to family mart. However, a little comment about the VIP credit of JPY1100, the front desk should explain more on how guests can utilise it. I have returned the credit without enjoying it.

Easy to check in, location is very convenient. room is quiet small compare to other hotel. If you are travelling with family and kids, may not be the best option around.

This was a beautiful 4-star hotel right next to a train station. However as a family of 4 we were surprised at having only 3 twin beds. There are no rooms which have bedding which accommodates 4 people comfortably. So we squished up and it was fine but may be an issue for a physically big family. Otherwise the hotel was clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the in room amenities generous. Also our suitcase broke and they charged us $15 to dispose of it when we checked our. I thought this was a bad way to end an otherwise lovely stay.
