Rose Hotel Yokohama

Breakfast was amazing- kids loved the pool. All staff so friendly especially Junko san at the front desk.

This is our third time staying here. The price is great, the rooms are large enough for our family. You can walk across the street to China town. Walk down the block to the harbor park area and visit an old passenger ship, you can walk to all the homes built in the 1920’s. The hotel is in the perfect location. Plus, it has FREE small roof top pool. It’s the only hotel we have EVER returned to. Live it.

There’s pro and cons here for the family. Pros: the location is central to Chinatown. So you walk down you are in the middle of it all. Right adjacent to the front entrance there’s a legit Thai massage. No funny business there. Just around the corner there’s a 3 story store that sells all traditional products, like kimono bags and tea pots and sandals.. love that place. Anyways the hotel is in a great location. Staff are great. The lobby looks nice and smells good. The room itself is a bit dated , beds are firm but heater works good, couldn’t figure out how to work the AC but didn’t need it in the winter, housekeeper are wonderful, bathroom is great water pressure and hot water is great. They also give you little amenities like slippers toothbrush etc it’s awesome. Room is pretty big for Japan. We got two kids two adults it fits us ok

We like this hotel, it’s our second time here. There is a nice small pool on the roof. It’s located in China town. We can easily fit our 4 person family in the room without having to stay in two rooms like most hotels in Japan. There is a waterfront within walking distance and a great old ship that is now a museum. The staff was very nice especially the parking staff.
