Kobe Portopia Hotel

Spacious room with kid. Able to fully open luggage without block the way.

We travelled with two young children and we were given a room facing the pool where there was a party with loud music at night until 9. They didn’t even tell us there was a party and there will be noise when we check in.

We booked this hotel for the pools so our kids could swim and play. Their outdoor pool is only open for two months between July and September and their indoor pool only has one lane for swimming and you have to pay a ridiculously high price to use it. Not too mention you have to wear a swim cap and can't have any tattoos to swim. The hotel is not very kid friendly as most of the restaurants require a two-day's notice if you want to order off their kids menu. The area around the hotel is dead and you have to catch the Portliner back into Kobe to do anything. Surrounding the hotel is only other hotels and conference centers. The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean. Room service was alright and the morning breakfast buffet was good but very expensive.

It seems that this hotel is more adequate for business travel. But, I think this facility is not so good for trip with your family for summer vacation and so.
