Check in is via self service. I’m a bit old school and prefer the regular customer service style. No TV, and you need to pick up amenities from downstairs (if you need water etc). Room is nice and clean. Bathroom door opened out so made the room a bit smaller. Sadly the room without the view of Sapporo tower faced a literal blank wall. Not very pleasant. Make sure to book the room with the view! Walls were paper thin and could hear the family and their kids running around at midnight. We stayed at the Osaka chain on the previous leg of our trip and preferred it because of the service. When checking in; we were offered an upgrade (which we paid the extra for).
