Mitsui Garden Hotel Hiroshima

Used this place for business trip. Our room was next to a family with young kids. Basically the kids were super noisy and the room apperantly has no sounds insulation. Could not sleep on the day so I needed to cancel the next day booking to sleep well at night and get ready for work

Front desk staff spoke great English and very helpful. Location of the hotel is very convenient - short walking distance to A-Dome/Memorial Peace Park and local bus/streetcar stations. Across from the hotel front entrance are two convenient stores to pick up whatever fast-food/amenities is needed. The breakfast buffet is a great deal. Has good variety of Western/US food and Japanese specialties. Had breakfast for 4 days, and the Japanese foods changed with each day. Excellent "dessert" options for breakfast. The free "happy hours" with wine and snacks (serving size of mixed nuts) was a nice touch. But the MOST IMPRESSIVE part of the breakfast buffet: the kitchen staff and the greeters/helpers. They were incredibly nice/polite/courteous - indistinguishable from staff members a a world-class 5-star hotel. On one busy morning where there was a family holding up the queue, a kitchen staff/chef actually came out to greet me and guided me to my table so that I didn't have to wait behind that family. Would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Didn’t get a baby crib for our baby even though they had it.
