Albergo Bel Sito e Berlino

Despite the fact that our room was very small (only about 1-2 feet of space around 3 sides of the bed and had a shower that only a small child could be comfortable in), I did enjoy the stay here. It's in a good location and the overall decor of the lobby and breakfast room (inside and out) was very charming. Our room had a little terrace on it with plants and a set of patio furniture which was really cute. The breakfast was pretty good and the hotel staff was really nice. It's also very close to a water bus stop, which is nice. (Don't attempt to walk to this hotel from the train or bus station with your luggage - we learned that the hard way and did not repeat that mistake when leaving Venice).

Fab location and great value for money. Staff very attentive, breakfast good, attractive decor with lovely new shower room and overall a well maintained hotel. A few minor areas for improvement, although a bit nitpicking - 1) the WiFi hardly ever provides a connection so monitoring work emails and communicating with friends/family other than by phone is almost impossible; 2) we stayed for a week so admittedly had more clothes etc than most guests would have but the storage was so limited that I had to live out of my suitcase; 3) the room was nicely decorated but no 'extras' other than toiletries- i.e. no tea/coffee, no clock, no bath, two single beds pushed together rather than a double, no English TV channel (although this didn't bother us, it might affect some). Overall, the hotel was ideal and we'd definitely stay there again!
