The overall experience of the stay at Hotel Accademia was absolutely fantastic. The room was a suite and a lovely spacious 2 room setup with separate living space and bedroom. Perfect when traveling with a baby and quite a lot of luggage. The hotel is placed in the middle of the old part of Verona and walking distance to all sites and has the atmosphere you are hoping to find in Verona. The staff was so helpful and serviceminded. Even though we had not booked in advance they ensured that the cleaning was done swiftly and we were ready to settle in before noon. A crip and a small baby amendments were placed in the room as well. We had also booked half a day late check out for an extra small fee, and was gifted with no charge for our minibar. Everyone was very forthcoming and friendly. This hotel comes with all recommendations from our little family.

The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Verona, just a few minutes walk to the Arena Di Verona. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from and it’s ideal if you want to go shopping as you can drop your bags in the hotel! The hotel staff were all lovely and friendly. It’s a lovely hotel and is very quiet (considering you’re in a city!) and spotlessly clean. The on-site gym is fantastic! The only downside was the hotel room was in need of an upgrade but it wouldn’t stop me staying here again as it did have everything we needed. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone from business travellers to couples and families.

We stayed at Hotel Accademia for one night to show our kids Verona, we had very nice adjoining rooms and the staff was so friendly. We had a welcome drink in the library and breakfast in the am. The hotel has all of the old world charm of Verona and it's central location is perfect. We look forward to coming back to Verona and staying there again.

This is a gem of a loggia, not inexpensive, but well worth the cost. The building dates to 1700 and is situated adjacent to the yellow archway at the top of town. Each booking includes one of the old parlours converted into a small apartment with a sleeping loft. There are still original frescoes on the ceilings. A small garden patio extends from the lobby and overlooks the town below. Breakfast (including the best cream crossiants ever) can be taken outside on a nice morning. The housekeeper met us, helped carry our bags up stairs, and bent over backwards to welcome us with information, advice and hospitality. This was a perfect set up for parents travelling with adult children. It is two minutes to the shops, five to the sea, and there is a Michelin restaurant - Miky - along the waterfront. Train service from Florence through La Spezia was very convenient and much less expensive between the Cinque Terra than the ferry boats. We took one just to get a view from the water. Would return in a heartbeat!
