Hotel Kraft

This property has a roof top pool and bar and Resturant with gorgeous views of Florence. We chose this for the kids to have a pool option. The breakfast was really good lots of options and gluten friendly. Easy to walk to Ponte Vechiccio. Family rooms were nice size.

The staff is extremely rude and not helpful. Asked a question and the front desk told me to just look at the tour pamphlets, asked about air conditioning and I was told “it is what it is”, & was charged 16 euros for one can of sprite (split for 2 kids). It’s unfortunate because the hotel rooms are nice. Would not recommend if customer service is important for your stay.

Stayed at the Kraft one night with the family and it was exactly as advertised. It is not your Big Brand hotel, but it had everything we needed. The staff was pleasant and the room nice. The roof pool and bar was a nice extra. My only negative was the prices at the restaurant/bar. 8 Euro for a Shirley temple?!?!?!

The staff are incredible and friendly always. Having a rooftop pool and breakfast on the rooftop were unique to Florence and would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was more than adequate. Hotel in a quiet area and yet walking distance to everything my family wanted to see!

This hotel was a great solution for our stay with 8 people including some kids. We wanted a pool but also wanted to be close enough to the center of the city to walk. This really worked for us in that regard. During the day it’s perfectly fine to weave your way through the side roads and get yourself to the Duomo but at night I would recommend walking along the Arno River to get back to the hotel. You simply go 3 bridges down from the Ponte Vecchio and then make a right two blocks after that. It’s a much nicer and well lit walk than weaving. As far as staff goes, some were kind and others were a bit rude. The front desk was very accommodating, they even had a box breakfast ready for us at checkout on our last day Bc we had to leave at 5:30. The rooms differ but are very clean. Ours was pretty small but nothing out of the ordinary for a charming boutique feeling hotel. All in all a great stay at Kraft. The pool was a saving grace for the harsh summer heat and the breakfast was a nice thing to wake up to each morning before we set out in our daily activities.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We loved the rooftop Duomo views, daily breakfast, the patio dinner and the pool. The staff were welcoming and helpful with the exception of one lady at the front desk who was completely rude and unwelcoming at check-in. Everything else about our experience was lovely and the other front desk staff made up for the bad experience at check-in. With a child our walk to Parione was 10 min. and to Ponte Vecchio 20 min.
