Hotel La Pensione Svizzera

This property was gorgeous and the view from the breakfast terrace was very picturesque. The entire staff (receptionists Flavia and Antonella, waiters Mario, Mateo, and Masimo, along with the chambermaids) were exceptionally polite, friendly, and very helpful. The same applies to Pietro, the proprietor of this hotel, who continues to operate this establishment that has been in his family for generations with utmost professionalism and courtesy toward his guests. My wife and I loved our stay there and would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location and very helpful and friendly staff. Such a short walk to the town centre, would highly recommend. I travelled with my family (Wife and children aged 5 and 9) and it was perfect!

An absolute highlight of our trip was finding this hotel. Two streets away from the tourists giving you a chance to breath with a great view. We absolutely cannot say enough about how outstanding the entire team was at this hotel. We used almost every aspect from laundry to reservations to getting a car to the airport. They were warm, friendly, helpful, and overall fantastic. Our room was cozy but pleasant. The breakfast is excellent. The garden outside is beautiful. They have a hotel cat who is as sweet as can be and will be found sleeping in the sun. They have many levels of rooms with different views. Whatever you choose I promise it will be well worth the stay. We can't thank the team enough for their hospitality to our family. You truly made our trip special.

A pilgrimage to Taormina brought me back after many years. Villa Svizzera is one of the few remaining authentic family owned villas. It is tastefully furnished, relaxing and homey. Close to souvenir shops, restaurants and the Greek theater. Very happy I chose Villa Svizzera!
