Hotel Flaminia

When we arrived the hotel looked absolutely beautiful and we couldn’t wait to check into our room, our room was so lovely and was cleaned everyday which was ideal We were staying here with a large group of family and friends for a wedding in Italy. The first day unfortunately they ran out of a lot of food / drinks and therefore we weren’t left with many options, despite this the food and drinks were reasonably priced and tasted good. Staff members didn’t seem accommodating and made us feel like a burden asking for drinks / food Things went downhill when various items from a lot of family members went missing, one example being my own pair of sandals which I knew I left in the room, after multiple times asking if they were found a rude staff member said no repeatedly, I must have asked about 5 times. The day after (when we had flown home) one family member who was still staying there was adamant she saw my sandals behind reception, I proceeded to ring the hotel as I was back in England at this point saying my sandals have been found can you please hand them to a family member, I was dismissed and told again they haven’t been found and then I got hung up on. After back and forth via email and then unfortunately quite a stern email from myself the emailed me to say 20 minutes later that my sandals suddenly ‘appeared’. The staff were rude and dismissive throughout our whole trip despite the hotel being absolutely lovely.

We came back to Flaminia as a family 40 years (!!) after we'd been there when my sister and I were kids, and it was a wonderfully happy return. The staff were hugely helpful with our many, complicated transfer requests, completely gracious and patient. My husband and I were given a free upgrade to a fabulous room with lake view and balcony, and we all loved the breakfasts. The swimming pontoon is just as we'd remembered from 1984, and an amazing place to relax and swim from. I cannot wait to go back again, hopefully in a lot less than 40 years time!

An amazing location and great breakfast included. We came as a family of 3 and the room was great for our stay. Located near the ferry and many great restaurants. The staff was fantastic during our stay. I would recommend and stay there again.

Beautiful, clean, and friendly staff. Stayed in the junior family suite and the views were breathtaking. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We hope to visit not only Sirmione again, but the hotel as well.

Fantastic hotel, providing visitors with a superb Sirmioni experience. Service was excellent and the junior suite with lake view an absolute delight. Breakfast had a variety of choices, although I personally would have liked to have seen a few more hot options.
