Hotel Donna Laura Palace

Lovely hotel in a a reasonably well maintained area. Room a bit small but very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Just a short walk to most of the sites. loved Rome and so did by teenage son. Hotel felt safe. Only two things I would have chanaged about the hotel, the restraunt only served a set menu, which we felt was expensive. Other thing is that the hotel is quite close to one of the main feeder roads into Rome. Hotel quite small so you get to know the staff. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in would highly recommend, especailly for families since seemed well managed and no problems with drunken parties etc. metro stop is just a very short walk and again felt safe and ok for families.
