Hotel Casa Valdese Roma

Reasonable no frills hotel. Pros - Great location, helpful staff and booking comes with a basic breakfast. Cons - Though it's not really a hassle, having to hand your key to reception every time you leave and having to request the night key if you will be back after midnight (and pay over €50 if you lose it) feels restrictive; like you are a child somehow. The key had a heavy weight on it that felt unnecessary. The bathroom had a wetroom which I personally hate but each to their own. Not only that, but the water didn't drain immediately, so virtually the entire bathroom floor got soaked which wasn't great. Overall, a decent basic hotel. You don't really expect much for the price.
