Hotel Morgana

Stayed in this hotel before so I booked to Expedia with VIP access but did not received the benefits. I was worried when I reached my room as the door is open. The reception said that the cleaner forgot to close the door. Expedia instructed to inform the hotel that I have the VIP ACCESS upon check in so I did and stated by Expedia that I’m entitled with beverages. I did not received the benefits offered by Expedia as a Silver member. No complimentary water even in a 4 star hotel. I have to phone the reception to ask for water. I was disappointed. But the hotel is in a good location near Roma Termini. There is a Leonardo Express train from Roma Termini to Fiumicino Airport if you’re flying from Fiumicino airport. Easy to find the hotel. There’s a lot of restaurants around and shops. Basilica Santa Maggiore is just few minutes walk. It’s easy to check in using the Expedia. The reception staff were nice and welcoming. They gives you good information that you need. The hotel porter Michael is very friendly and gives you a big smile. Breakfast is included in my booking but it’s very basic. The staff were very nice. Most staff are from the Philippines I think and they are very good in their work especially to Albert, Wendel and a girl that I did not get her name. I definitely come back to stay in this hotel again and will recommend to family and friends.

Will never recommend this hotel to any of my friends. Very old rooms. Wifi never worked. was asked to take a room in another building not havinging suitable elevator for baby stroller to fit in. had to negotiate and get a room in the main building. Staff quite friendly and location good but the total experience was quite disappointing for the price of the hotel.

I spent only a night with hubby and 2 children (9 & 6 yo). It's 5 min walking from Rome Termini Station and a good neighborhood walking distance (15' aprox) to Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Pantheon, etc. The hotel is a history gem if you appreciate old stuff like I do: walls wallpapered in fabric, heavy baroque courtains, furniture and paintings. We slept good with AC and blackout courtains. Bathroom is big and shower decent size and had an awesome shower with plenty of water (great temperature adjuster). Good quality shampu, conditioner, shower soap and hand soap. They also provide disposable shower caps and shoe shiner. Front desk friendly and efficent to solve anything you need. Breakfast is the best with a variety of italian pastry, cake, cereal, fruits, juices, bagels, scrambled eggs, bacon, cold cuts, teas and delicious coffee (they come to your table and ask you what'd like and bring it right away as many times as you wish). Definetely will come back if in Tome again.

You need to be lucky to have a good room. I've got two rooms for my family. The room size and condition varied.
