I don't even know where to start, my husband and I loved this property! Incredibly conveniently located just on the side of town. The main downtown area and Sorrento bus station both were only a quick 5 walk, yet at night everything was perfectly quiet, and you couldn't hear the hustle and bustle of downtown. The hotel itself is STUNNING, immaculately clean with incredible amenities. The rooftop pool has a breathtaking view, and the water was cool and refreshing - never one time was there an issue getting cabanas and it never felt crowded. It's also worth noting that the AC in the rooms worked like a charm and was very welcomed in the July heat. We will be recommending The Grand Hotel De La Ville to our family!

The front desk service was terrible! We just came from Rome, very tired after 6 hour trip and the clerk made us to stay in the hall for half an hour!!! Also, our son was staying in the different hotel with the football team. When he stopped by to see us, the concierge did not allow him to go on elevator to visit our room??? The excuse given - he is not a guest of hotel. In my traveling to Europe I stayed in many five stars properties, and NEVER heard about the child cannot visit his parents in the room ruling?!

Best stay of the trip! Loved this property! Amazing view, very clean, comfortable beds ,great location , friendly staff and great with kids! Food was great and a large variety!

We made a noise complaint of the room above ours where at 2 a.m. the 2 kids and parents were stomping around and kids were yelling. Nothing happened and when I went to talk to the people, the father opened the door and shoved me into the wall injuring my elbow. When I told the front desk when we left, they did not offer any partial refund at all. Not a good stay.
