Natra Bintan, a Tribute Portfolio Resort

As a family of 2 adults and a daughter aged 12 we stayed for 4 nights and had a fantastic time. The staff are so helpful considerate and always have a smile on their faces. The taxi driver Antonio was especially helpful with trips to different areas. The food was delicious lots of choices and never a bad meal, the cost of the food was very reasonable for a hotel and the standard was consistently good. You also have access to the lagoon with the water park which was great fun trying wakeboarding for the first time. We have lots of happy memories from our stay. Please remember you are staying in a tent and although it is a luxurious tent it does not have sound proofing so remember ear plugs if a light sleeper. I am a light sleeper but was fine without any earplugs but just so people are aware. We did have a couple of downpours but soon cleared and dried up. A lovely hotel elevated higher by the staff.

The staff were very kind and hospitable. They are well trained in terms of managing guests and all our requests. We went when it was off-peak season so the area was very peaceful and quiet. My family and I enjoyed our entire stay. Would definitely come back!

Glamping as convenient as you like. It’s like camping in one’s living room except that it’s wide space near a man made lake with an activities center. Too bad the kid is 3 and so not able to partake all, will be back!

Friendly helpful staff. Lagoon is beautiful to play in. Too bad you have to pay for all the activities. It was our first glamping experience and the room is really nice. BBQ right outside the tent is highly recommended. They do all the prep and clean up so you just do the fun BBQ and eating. The walls are super thin (cloth). There was a child in the next tent who cried for a long time in the middle of the night. If you happen to have such neighbours, be prepared to have disturbed sleep.

Check In: The staff member who checked me in was lovely and she answered my questions. A welcome drink would be nice in this climate. Room: The tent is fun but obviously difficult to maintain - fabric walls have some stains. The in room slippers are flip flops that are too small for western feet. There are no bathrobes or pool towels. Coffee and tea in the room is limited to instant coffee and one type of tea - not sure they can say this is a 5 star resort? Amenities: Despite the website and hotel booking sites listing these ammenities there is NO Gym and only one restaurant is open and it’s the same as Singapore prices for restaurant food but not as good. But there are no other options. The spa is open. There are lots of activities you can pay extra for - and pay extra you will - but great for kids. Food: There is only one restaurant on site, but they have decent offering (but a bit over priced for what you get). The Breakfast buffet was fantastic though.

Happy with the myriad of activities available for our family. Food was good and accommodation was spacious. The bed wasn't that comfortable though, woke up with a back ache.

Good family friendly resort with great service. Rooms are big enough to house a family with 2 kids. Shuttles are provided from ferry terminal.
