Luwak Ubud Villas

Luwak Estate Ubud was the perfect place for our family of 6 adults. The place was a Bali haven for us we never want to go out and explore as the place is so tranquil and perfect if you just really wanted to relax. It’s surrounded with natural lush greenery and you feel you’re really one with nature you can hear all insects’ sounds at night which I really love. Pool is nice but it would be better if the water felt fresher but we still enjoyed it day and night. The massage was really good and if only I can give 10 stars out of 5 to the whole staff then that’s the rating they deserve! They even went out of their way to put our breakfast on take-away boxes at 4AM as our flight back home was really early. They were so welcoming and warm, excellent service! Thank you for taking care of us all and we hope to see you again!

We enjoyed our stay in Luwak Estate. My kids loved the pool which was cleaned every morning. All the staff were just wonderful and gracious. Thank you for looking after us on our week stay.

This villas is very nice and comfortable for whole family to stay. Location is quiet but not far from Ubud Palace and they provide shuttle to get there for free at certain time. The staffs are super friendly and helpful. I will stay there again.

Our Villa was very pretty. But unfortunately because it is all so open and unable to be closed off, there was a lot of insects and wildlife within the Villa. There was an animal of some kind (maybe a rat or similar) under our bed every night scratching and scampering and it scared the kids who couldn’t sleep. Also the French doors to the bathrooms have a padlock that isn’t secure as the brass rings have a gap where the lock just slips through so we didn’t feel 100% secure, especially in the room backing onto the Main Street. This meant my husband and I ended up splitting up and me sharing with the children so they weren’t in a Villa alone. The pros are it’s a lovely Villa, extremely close to town (it’s actually right on a quite busy road (noisy with traffic) has a nice pool, very friendly helpful staff and lovely breakfast included. The animal life, insects, security worries, and very hard uncomfortable beds made my stay disappointing unfortunately. I didn’t get very much sleep each night here

The staff at Luwak are amazing, so helpful and helped make our stay enjoyable. The villa is on the outskirts of Ubud, so it is peaceful, but close to all the sights of Ubud - the shuttle bus makes it easy to get around and then return to the peace of Luwak. The bedrooms are separate and open onto the pool, our kids are older so not an issue, but would be if you had younger children. Our kids got worried on one of the first nights being separate from us, but settled after that

Our stay here was perfect. The staff were fantastic, the villa was absolutely stunningly beautiful. The outdoor bathroom and bathtub lay in a shallow pond of fish. The breakfast was wonderful. The free shuttle to the main street was great because it meant we were in the peace and quiet of the villa and could go to the restaurants and sites around the hotel easily. Ubud was the highlight of our stay. All the siteseeing was there and everything was wonderful. The market in Ubud is the best. The hotel and the villas are just like the pictures. But in reality the feeling u get of the nature is wonderful. We were a family of four. I even forgot my book at the hotel and had left for Kuta which is an hour and a half away, And Puspa one of the staff from the hotel was so lovely, she got it all the at to my hotel in Kuta. Unbelievable. The staff will go all the way to make sure you are happy always.

Wow! Is all I can say having come back from a week’s stay with my family at the Luwak villas in Ubud. The villa we stayed in was amazing from the moment we walked through the door it was like stepping into a different world, lush green plants surrounded the 2 villas the infinity pool was fabulous. The bedrooms were spotless and beautifully cleaned everyday. The staff were fantastic nothing was too much trouble they made our holiday wonderful we felt so relaxed. A big thank you to the reception staff,housekeeping,managers spa ladies and the drivers who would pick us up and drop us off at different times of the day. Can’t wait to go back.

The accommodation is spacious and well appointed. The outside has a grassed area, substantial swimming pool, covered outdoor seating area, cooking facilities, and sun loungers. The inside has a good sized bed with mosquito nets that fully enclose it, television, wardrobes + safe, twin washbasins, a deep bath that sits in shallow water and has its own family of goldfish swimming around, a rain head shower, and toilet. Breakfast can be taken in your villa or at the restaurant, which overlooks the pool. The food is delightful and the presentation is beautiful. Afternoon tea is also on offer and is well worth having. From the moment you arrive to the time you leave, you are treated as though you are the only guests there. The staff look after your every need, are courteous, happy & smiling, and always have time to talk to you and to enquire if all is well. There is a shuttle that runs from 10.00 through 20.00 and is free between those times. If you need to get into town earlier or come back later there is a small charge for the service. On arrival you are given a phone to enable you to call reception to organise pickup from town. We have stayed in Ubud six or seven times and I can honestly say that this is one of the best places we have ever stayed. A thoroughly enjoyable experience which will be repeated in the near future.

It was fantastic. We have never felt so spoiled whilst travelling. Everything was perfect, the room, the grounds, the staff were so helpful and friendly, the private pool and entertaining area was amazing, the food was delicious. No complaints what so ever. We will be recommending these villas to our friends and family and will stay again the next time we visit Bali.
