When you pay you expect service with enthusiastic and hope they explain everything but check in was not very welcoming i think they were more interested in wedding party than every day customers. All staff look tired and they didn't even said when where or what time is breakfast and nothing in the room that we can read and find out. No Bathrobes in the rooms toiletries are not nice at all looks basics. Towels looks old and time to change for new.water was free that is plus point but basics hotel provide soft drink in minibar freeze free but nothing from this hotel .when we went for breakfast we had to wait in queue and than lady took people from front of us and untill she don't finish with them we had to wait outside untill they dsay we can seat after that breais not good compare to other 5star hotel again they only interested in Asian food .other breakfast is not good at all ,fresh fruit juice been in plastic containers and when we ask they gave us from there in very small glasses. For breakfast they don't even have granola that we can make our own bowl.they had small ready granola in like small wine glass .for cereal they had plastic bowand that even don't look nice .I was very exited to stay in this hotel but very disappointing. We had dinner in restaurant and food was average. I would not stay there again and don't recommend to my friends and family.

Did not like this resort at all. Catering to the Korean and Chinese markets. Breakfast and breakfast staff were good. Most other staff were rude but we did notice that a lot of guests were rude to the staff so we can see why. Nearly 2 hours standing in a line just to check out was not good enough. Thank goodness we didnt have a plane to catch! Expensive and WAY over rated. The worst thing was the room noise. The worst we have experienced and kept 2 adults and 2 children awake most nights hearing people above and in the hallway. Never again.

Top beach resort I’ve ever stayed in. Superb customer service above all - the rooms, food choices, beach, pools, huge resort layout, staff were all amazing! I feel truly blessed to have stayed there as a family.

What an amazing place this resort was. Staff were so friendly and willing to help. The rooms were very comfortable with all the mod cons and very spacious. The grounds were very well kept and well lit at night. The variety of restaurants, bars, club and facilities was varied and the breakfast buffet catered for all nationalities. It was a very relaxed and pleasurable 7 day stay with family and friends and we can see why The Mulia is the number one resort in Bali!!! Fully recommend!

We stayed at the Mulia during Xmas/New Years in the Garden room for 2 people and loved our room. It was spacious, comfortable and we felt right at home. The Mulia was a grand resort and very picturesque with its own beach! There were pools everywhere (decorative and for swimming) and the resort was very well maintained. Loved the Ocean pool, pool bars, gym and buffet breakfast! Food was amazing at the Mulia, though be prepared to spend more on dining than you normally would for a stay in Bali (Sydney prices). Food service was also slow and inefficient at times but this seems to be the norm in Bali - slower pace of life. There were lots of families and couples staying at the Mulia so if you're a young traveller looking to party, the Mulia isn't the best place for that. Great resort for relaxing and chilling by the pool and beach. The main downside about staying at the Mulia was its inconvenient location. The Mulia was located in Nusa Dua which didn't have a lot of attractions. We made many trips down to Seminyak for shopping/entertainment/restaurants (which took around 30-45 minutes by taxi depending on traffic). Ubud was also around a 1.5 hour drive away from Nusa Dua in the peak holiday season. Jimbaran/Uluwatu also took around an hour to get to from the resort. We spent a lot of time travelling during our day trips! Traffic also tends to be worse in Bali during the peak season.
