The Lekka Hotel & Spa

First, the family room, designed for 3-4 people, has a GLASS BATHROOM DOOR. The room is so small one can see the activity on the toilet from basically everywhere in the room. I cannot fathom this design choice. Reason by itself to shun this hotel. But if you are ok with fixing this absurdity with a sheet hung over the door (which, to be fair, was delivered promptly), still can't recommend. We picked this hotel for three reasons: 1) family room that would hold 4; 2) location; and 3) roof-top bar. 1) The "family room" with a queen and bunk beds evidently has that configuration because it is too small for a typical double queen. No closet, no shelves, and nowhere to sit except the bed. It was chaos even after 36 hours. And, see above bathroom issue. 2) Location is indeed a ~10 minute walk to lots of things. But we came to tourist and eat Greek food, not partake in Mexican(!) food or shopping at H&M that's in the immediate area. We were basically 4-6 charmless blocks further away from everything than when we stayed about a half mile south at the edge of the Plaka. 3) The roof-top bar is west-facing and has no shade, making it basically useless in the summer for sunset. Breakfast was decent, but questionable without cooling in the 80 degree mornings. On the plus side, agree that the daytime receptionist was very helpful, and we were there over a weekend and did not experience any noise issues.

We loved our stay at Lekka Hotel and Spa! The family room was perfect and it was walkable to the sites! Roof view, breakfast and evening cocktails were perfect. Thank you.

Stayed for one night before our return trip home. Location is great as it’s 5 min walk to main tram station that takes you to the airport. Hotel was initially hard to find as there is no signage that we saw. You buzz in and they let you in ( this was 9pm so perhaps they lock it for the night) Check in was good, got our key and went up to the family room we booked. Room was clean and larger. The big issue is the noise. You can hear everything from the corridors and outside. As this is right smack in the middle of downtown with bars and pubs you will be woken up by the late drunk people going home. Location certainly can’t be beat but more could be done to sound proof the rooms We also pain for breakfast and were told it doesn’t open till 8am ( Expedia said 7 am). She arranged for breakfast boxes to be picked up in the morning when we check out bit when we got downstairs there was no one at reception for 5 plus minutes so we left.

Staff unfriendly, location is good for being central but noise levels are terrible, do not stay here is you value your sleep or have a young family. Building has one centralised heating and cooling system therefore rooms cannot be individually set- no two people will ever feel heat or cold the same. Solution is to open windows but that only increases disturbance of outside noise. Rooms not cleaned to UK standards, very disappointing. The staffs do little to assist in finding solutions. Breakfast is cold, served in the lobby which has a lack of seating all forms part of the terrible experience. It was not as advertised!!

Nice property. Great room for our family if 4. Very clean and well maintained.

Staff was hospitable and accommodating. Rooftop breakfast and coffee were a plus for this family trip. Views of the city from rooftop and room were awesome. Great location.

My family stayed here before a Greece cruise. Great location, very clean. The hotel helped us arrange taxi's from the airport and to the cruise port. Staff was very helpful. The rooftop bar is amazing! Breakfast was excellent. Also recommended dopios for dinner and the food was great. Walking distance to many attractions/shopping. Burger shop across the street was also good.

My family had a wonderful time with The Lekka hotel & spa. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our accomodation includes good breakfast service. The property is just walking distance to many of our points of interest to visit. Highly recommended.
