We had a lovely time at the Novotel in Athens. Comfortable room with great shower. The cleaning service was good and all the staff very friendly. Don’t listen to reviews from others regarding the dodgy location. We were concerned after reading them, but staying here we felt safe as a family and it’s very easy and cheap to catch Ubers. We would definitely come back

2 nights in Athens. Hotel was clean and efficient. Only negatives were that the rooms were cramped for a family of 4, with the children’s sofabed blankets being too thin and the buffet breakfast was too busy and chaotic. However, overall was a pleasant experience.

Staff was helpful. Area around hotel overflowing with migrants. Not safe to walk. Pool was good, but too many kids. Should have a divider rope for kids and other side for guests. Mixed feelings staff was always helpful but disappointed with the area. I can’t recommend based on that. Graffiti worse then any subway ive ever seen in ny

The rooms are very old needs renovation ! They do not even provide basic needs like dental kit in the wash room Definitely not a place to stay with the family vacation.

My family (2 adults & 2 early teens) stayed at the Novotel for 4 nights. The staff are very friendly. Rooms are small but functional. Breakfast was good. The area is not good but the location is good so taxis to the city centre cost between €4 and €7. Pool area was a huge hit. I would recommend it to friends. And we would stay again.

Very nice hotel. Good location, rooftop pool is good and has great views over the city. Only issue was that the mattress of the sofabed was not suitable for anyone but a child. Other than that, a great stay. Breakfast was good too.

Great hotel. Breakfast of economical and kids go free is really great. Just a small advice on available options i.e., more continental options would make it brilliant.

Nice hotel. Comfortable stay. Great black-out blinds. Not too much noise coming from other rooms so we slept well. Great double bed. Good shower. Nice breakfast. Lovely orange juice. Ok pool. Bit shallow but refreshing. Children enjoyed using it. Good drinks / drinks service by pool. Sofa bed was not ideal for our small children. Felt a bit grubby / old and they complained it wasn't comfortable. Location was okay. We walked everywhere from hotel. Felt slightly uncomfortable at night at times with people hanging around but we felt safe enough to walk. It was as we'd expect in a city centre.
