We had a family suite with 2 rooms both with a king bed. It was very cramped which was okay as it’s expected in the city. However, the continuous smell in one of the bathrooms was not bearable. Then bathroom is also right next to the bed so it just was not pleasant at all. Also, the AC did not work properly in one of the rooms. We checked out a night early because the smell was just too much. They offered us credit to the same hotel for that one night, but we would never go back so we just lost that money.

The rooms were smaller than anticipated. They struggle to accomodate two larger luggages and carry-ons with a cot. If you are travelling with an infant, upgrade to a larger room for more mobility. Also, if you have a full sized stroller, you will struggle with the smaller than American sized elevators. We had a compact stroller and still struggled. The hotel breakfast selection was terrific which I recommend everyone to try even though I never do hotel breakfast. AC was fast and cooled the room well. Noise from the streets dies down, but there is the occasional yelling or street noise that may disturb you. The hotel is surrounded by a delicious pastry and gyro shop open 24 hours practically next door and access to transit is steps away. The walk to Acropolis is possible, but do note the terrain gets steep just after the half way mark on foot.

Our family suite has 2 rooms. 1 room is ok but the other room is very small has has no view except a tall wall. The shower is open so water spilled out everywhere.

Athens Tiare is in a great location with easy access to all major attractions in Athens. The staff is very friendly and went above & beyond to take care of our family during our visit. The rooms are very spacious and the buffet breakfast was a great start to our days, highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Athens!!

Staff was super friendly and helpful, allowing us to check in early and checkout late. Nice property, family operated and a smaller operation, however their service and hospitality was amazing! I would highly recommend this property, walking distance to shopping district and major attractions. Their connecting family suite worked great for our family!

Location was key for our family to be able to get around, metro right outside the door of the hotel and an abundance of cabs and walking you where able to see most of the importance sites. But what made our stay amazing wasn't location it was the staff of the hotel. From the bellhop who helped us with our luggage, to the concierge who was always available and willing to help and lets not forget housekeeping which cleaned up the room and place my daughters stuff animal on her bed. Detail from the staff and showing us the willingness to provide the best service is what sold me. If this hasn't sold you to stay here, I guess their free buffet style breakfast will. The spread was nothing more than excellent, they had it all from eggs to pancakes to cooked ham, fruits, honey, yogurt and sweets. Also the hotel has a restaurant that provides a variety of choices and the food was delicious. When I visit again I will definitely stay here not because of location but because of the staff and quality of food and services.

Staff were really lovely and were so accommodating of our toddler going out of their way to give him things and keep him entertained. Great central location, easy to walk or get the metro to anywhere in the city. We had a balcony but unfortunately there weren’t any chair out there which was a shame because it’s a great view. Decent sized room and bathroom and nice buffet breakfast. For the price I highly recommend this hotel!

They sell the family suit saying that the room has balcony, but they don't permit you to open the balcony door. So they should say that the room is without balcony . They say they have parking place but it is 250-300 meters away from the hotel and you have to stop int he middle of the traffic in order to drop down your luggages. And then go the parking spot by your own where the streets are full of junkies and prostitutes.

Good hotel, nice location, helpful staff, convenient for most, very next to Omonia station - handy for travel. Breakfast was good value, but as we stayed for 5 days it became monotonous and boring by the end, as it is the same menu everyday, may be one or two dessert changes. They gave two bottles of water per room for entire 5 days- seems their policy, staff didn't like it when questioned- immediate unhappy expression noticed. They agreed if the booking is split for each day the multiplication factor would have come in, ironic, but why would one split booking! Bottle cost would be €1. There was also discrepancy from hotels.com booking, where 1 room was booked, which should give €3 tax/day, ended up double for us for 5 days, as they had booked family suite with 2 connecting rooms. It would be unfair to blame the hotel, may be the booking site should take the flak. The booking receipt is explicit for €15 = £13.28 - no credibility here. Overall we heard from travel guide, taxi drivers and local shops that Omonia in general is not safe in Athens. You can notice that from guys hanging out there. One should avoid lonely, dark and side streets at the backend of thd hotel. So it kept us on our feet all the time.
