IntercityHotel Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof Süd

The hotel was nice, just what we needed. It had all the right amenities and the staff were helpful and friendly. Room was great. My only complaint would be the neighborhood. Hotel location is directly across from the street from Frankfurt HbF, very convenient. However the area around the station is trashy, smells of urine, frequent panhandlers, cannabis smokers and sellers, etc... I realize this is not the hotel's issue to resolve, but wanted travelers to be aware of what the neighborhood was like. I would not say this is an area for children. At one point there was a naked woman on the side walk changer her clothes for example.
