Lindner Hotel & Residence Main Plaza

Pictures and information on this hotel dont match the actual condition of this hotel. The air condition was not working. They promised to send a technician to fix the air condition. It did not happen. The room was not cleaned properly, with lots of dust behind the curtains. No iron in the room. Cannot recommend this hotel for families.

We (two adults and one child) had an excellent time at the Lindner on Main! Our room was spacious and efficient, the pool and common areas are pleasant and clean,it's a great neighborhood, and the staff is extremely gracious and helpful. We will most definitely come back to this hotel next time we're in Frankfurt

We stayed for four nights while visiting family who live nearby. We very much enjoyed the accommodations and the view both during the day and at night was nothing short of magnificent. The proximity next to the Rhine provides constant entertainment with all sorts of river traffic. We will stay their again. But watch for skyrocketing prices during business convenietions.

Excellent hotel, arrived at 2300hrs really tired after a long and emotional day! Very friendly greeting in English, and a really pleasant conversation with the Gentleman on the desk. Received an upgrade to a junior suite which was wonderfully large suite with a separate dining/kitchen/lounge area, and rbedroom and bathroom. The room view looked out over the river Main and lights of the city twinkled into the room. A lovely scene especially with the winter wonderland outside. Very comfortable! Wonderful waiting staff and head of waiting team manager who really put themselves out to assist. In all my travels I have never met a team who are so genuinely pleasant, helpful and delighted to assist with anything they possibly can. It was a wonderful experience of real customer service, and a delight because of its genuniness. Well done guys, top marks for my four night stay. Only downside is the in-house breakfasts are a little pricey, but you can get room service a la carte at a better value if you choose!

We were upgraded to a junior suite which was very spacious. The hotel had the feel of an apartment block, lacking in the usual lobby and reception area of a hotel. It is a 30 minute walk to the centre of the city but only a short 10 minute walk to the Apple Market area which has quite a few bars and restaurants as you wander through it's cobbled streets. The breakfast was very poor. The hot food was cold on both days and either over or undercooked and very expensive at 23 euros each. Hotel services were also lacking and coffee, tea and soap were not replenished and we had to ask 3 times before we were satisfied. All in all O.K. for a our short 2 day December break but a little clinical and severe for a longer stay

Eye-catching building on the south bank of the River Main. Approx 25 minutes walk to city centre and 5 mins away from nearest tram line. Outstanding views. Rooms comfortable and clean. Restaurant meals expensive and not everyones taste - food often cold especially the "hot" breakfast. Room service better value. Health suite and spa can get busy and noisy if kids about. Hotel situated next to the river, offices and residential. There's not much in the way of amenties in imediate vicinity but small shops, lots of rstaurants etc about 10 minutes walk away.
