Hotel Concorde München

Good: location, breakfast, general friendliness. Bad: 1) wifi in room was so weak you had to stand by the door to connect, and still sketchy. 2) TV was only German language. There was no option to connect to streaming services like Netflix, etc. c'mon, it's 2024...wifi and connected TV is a must. This made evenings with kids difficult. 3). Room small, the website photos are NOT reflective of reality. I wanted a suite but they were sold out, but the pics for the triple room show an SPACIOUS room. Had the photos been real, I would have chosen a different hotel with a suite.

We're family of four and stayed for 3 nights. We arrived a little late on 7 pm. Our room was good but had some electricity/lighting issue. The lobby person (Christian, if I got it right) tried his best to fix it and when it didn't work out, he quickly suggested an upgrade. New room was just awesome. He turned a possible nightmare into a true satisfaction. Really top notch hotel service that I've ever seen. Location was really close to everything. It was also convenient that it has a parking lot, though small, in its facility. Also breakfast was very good. It has wide variety of eggs, sausages, and cheese, all were delicious. Only downside is that the hotel elevator us quite tiny, but it's understandable, guven it is located in city center.

The hotel staff were all excellent - friendly & helpful. Room was small and the two of us didn't have space to get dressed at the same time. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The bottom sheet was rough and scratchy. The rectangular pillow was a hard, mishapen lump. The large square pillow was flat. Thr room was hot and uncomfortable (west facing). The airconditioning cpuld not be adjusted so that the room was cool enough. Street noise was a probkem - children's playground across the street, street noise from people on the sidewalk and cars. Building construction noise was a problem! Shower so small that when I moved in the shower to bathe, I would accidentally bump the water control and the water would shut off. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The location was great. Free parking was a plus but you need a small car to use it.

We had the family room and it was great. 2 separate areas with 2 full baths. The location is great and close to everything as well.
