Holiday Inn Express Munich - City East, an IHG Hotel

The room was way too small for 2 adults with a child. The rooom had constant noises from the pipes I guess. There was a fire alarm in the middle of the night. Some of the staff spoke very basic English. On the other side, the breakfast was pretty good.

First, we get to the hotel, we check in. I guess there’s two different holiday inns so you have to walk really really far trying to open huge doors with your luggages two different times to get to the elevator to go up. There’s only one check in. Then we notice we are basically falling off the bed. Literally, like the whole one side of it was falling down. I was scared one of my kids are gonna fall off like I was falling off imagine them. They kinda didn’t want to give me a new room. They said it’s not broken, it’s just been used a lot on that side. Like no, something is wrong with it. Once i mentioned that I was scared my baby was going to fall off they changed it, The bathroom stunk so bad, like a porta potty. The shower was a big shower with two curtains. Water got everywhere that’s probably why it stinks. The carpet was very dirty, visible stains everywhere. The breakfast was horrible. When we changed they only gave us one key I went to ask for another one and more towels. I literally sat there behind a guy for over 20 minutes without even being noticied like didn’t even try to look at me and told me to wait or anything . I finally got fed up and I went up there and ask them like how long am I going to wait? There was another girl at the desk as well. I didn’t know why she couldn’t call me up. So i went to her. It was just very rude. Her excuse was she thought I was with the older guy in front of me, like no. That was when I kinda felt like I was being mistreated.
