Radisson Hotel Nice Airport

A beautiful new hotel with very clean modern design. The bathroom was stunning and the beds were so comfy with the fluffiest duvets. Pool was also great. Breakfast buffet is recommended. Lots to choose from and you can also order a la carte items if you want something else. Only downside is the restaurant/room service doesn’t have much to offer and there isn’t anything within walking distance so you'd have to travel into the city to eat better or get Uber Eats delivered. Only a short walk to Grand Arena tram (a free tram ride from Airport) or Nice Saint Augustin train station. I traveled with my toddler and the staff were so great with her. So convenient.

We booked this hotel as close to the airport with a pool so my little boy could go for a swim. The staff were friendly and the rooms were good but there were some problems that made our stay less than good: the cot I had requested wasn’t organised in advance and when it arrived couldn’t be used as it had been assembled incorrectly (one side piece was upside down as the label clearly showed); the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all and wasn’t fixed despite requests, the breakfast area had no aircon and was too hot to eat in, the only food available when we arrived mid-afternoon was dinner from 7 (no good with a baby) so nothing to eat and there was no water in the rooms and nowhere to buy water except in small glass bottles from the bar at significant expense. I know covid has been tough on these types of establishment but this isn’t great.

We were on family vacation and thought to spend the week at Radisson as I travel a lot and I was always satisfied with Radisson blue hotels. But this is Radisson and not Radisson blue despite they charge the almost the same price but for a huge downgrade in service. The room has no refrigerator despite the hot weather, it is supposed 4 stars hotel. They do not provide slippers for the bathroom and when we asked why is that we got the answer it is Radissons policy!! And only high grade rooms provide such services. The Rooms is very basic a bed and a very small wardrobe, not enough place for two persons and a week stay. Our room had something wrong, all lights turn off all together and the bed lights could not be controlled alone. The ventilation was ok but couldn't manage t keep the a reasonable moisture level. Very basic breakfast and non polite personal. If you are hungry after 10 o'clock at night they have only two cold dishes, taste som left overs and a supposed fruit salad(never recommend them) The personal at the reception required 500 euros as deposit for our stay and when I asked why because it is a lot of money I got the answer they require 100 euros for every night but after a little arguing, they said it is not needed. Some other personal at the reception were polite and helpful. In general you can get a much better 3 stars hotel at a better location for the same price and if you consider comfort and hygiene I would not recommend them.
