Hotel Le Lion d'Or et restaurant la Table du Lion

The location was perfect to explore Bayeux, which is such a picture perfect town. Our room was spacious (separate entrance from the main hotel as a room for family of 3). It was very clean and comfortable for a short stay. We opted out of the breakfast and just walked a few steps to the local bakery.

We loved Hotel Le Lion..! We didn’t know what to expect. The rooms was very nice and spacious for our family of four. Great location right on the Main Street of town. Great breakfast and near a lot of good restaurants. The staff was amazing. The nicest and most helpful. I recommend it highly if visiting Bayeux.

Hotel was very quant and in a beautiful section of old Bayeux. The room was comfortable and spacious for my family of 4. Our male clerk at check-in was somewhat curt, but the female that assisted with check out the next morning was very warm and friendly.

Our family spent 3 nights at this wonderful hotel. We stayed in family room. Modern, clean, and well sound proofed! Excellent restaurant/chef and wait staff. Breakfast and dinner were well worth the price and made it easy to make our early morning's tour guide rendezvous. Location is just at the end of the many charming restaurant and shops downtown and a couple blocks from the Bayuex tapestry museum and impressive Catherdral Noetre Dame Bayeux. Only caveat is if you have problem with stairs request a 1st or 2nd floor room as no elevator if you are not booked in main building. The bar was relaxing with many WW2 and celebrity photos with autographs. Front desk staff were very helpful and always warming greeted us. You would think the staff are all owners as they all appreciated our business!
