My teenage daughter and I stayed in a junior suite and had a wonderful time in Paris for 4 nights. The suite was spacious, and the area around the hotel was wonderful with lots of cafes and restaurants. Notre Dame, Musee d’Orsay and the Louve are all within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a very good experience at Residence des Arts! First of all, the location of this hotel is ideal! It is a 2-minute walk to the St. Michel Metro/RER stop. We stayed in one of their Junior Suites, and it was perfect for our family of 3. Each Junior Suite has a king-sized bed (which is hard to find in European hotels) and a pull-out sofa. Our 12-year old daughter slept on the sleeper sofa, and she found it to be comfortable. It also had a little kitchenette with a fridge, a stove and microwave. The bathroom was quite spacious by European standards, with a tub and separate shower and toilet area. The decor in the rooms is cozy and quaint with a very Parisian feel. However, the carpet and furniture are starting to show signs of wear-and-tear, and this isn't really captured in the photos. I hate to say anything negative because we had a lovely experience at this hotel. It's not a luxurious hotel, but it's comfortable and clean; it felt like we were staying at a little apartment. Yes, the elevator is teeny tiny but cute! Also, the WIFI signal in the rooms was strong (a big plus!). The staff is very nice and helpful. Joanne and Alexandre at the front desk, which is actually at Villa d'Estrees across the street, were especially nice and helpful. They both made several calls on our behalf (to restaurants, cabs and such) and gave us recommendations when we asked for them. We plan on staying at Residence des Arts the next time we are in Paris!

We stayed in a junior suite with our toddler twins. The hotel provided two baby beds, and the separate living room gave us plenty of space. The kitchenette was a HUGE bonus with kids. The bathroom was very spacious and had both a bath tub and a separate shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect- we’d definitely stay here again. It’s a great sized room for Paris.
