Hôtel Sainte-Beuve

Hello, I stayed at Hotel Sainte Beuve from 20 to 23 February. The hotel was advertised as 4 stars but all in all does not deserve even 3 stars. The rooms were dirty, the facilities were old and needed a revamp. The room was cold and the heating was not working properly. I went with my 7-month-old baby and in the elevator was not even space for the cot...we had to take the baby and carry her in the lift waking her up every time if she was sleeping. The bathroom was cold as the window did not close properly plus the sink in the bathroom was clogged the first day, which is insane for a 4 star hotel. We only had breakfast once and they had the courage to charge 18 euros for a miserable and small breakfast, with only fruit, a small yogurt and coffee.. only a la carte, served in the hotel reception, not even in a dedicated room.This hotel was expensive. I had to pay for my upgrade for the deluxe room which i regret so much and the taxes at the hotel more than 130 euro ....at the end this hotel was really expensive but it is not worth a penny. The staff at the reception is ok but when I asked about some free bath products they did not know what I was talking about...in a 4 star hotel..I did not even find a hand soap in the room...I feel like I have been robbed of my money. The room was not clean I found other people hair on the pillow the first day I got in....nothing screamed 4 star in there, max was a 3 star stay...very disappointed, dont be deceived from the pictures online

We were travelling with two teenagers so were looking for a hotel with a "family room." This was essentially 2 adjoining hotel rooms with a central entry - one with 2 twins and its own bathroom along with another with a queen and bathroom. The hotel is on a quiet street within easy walking distance of two metro lines (Notre Dame des Champs and Vavin). There are a number of good restaurants in the neighborhood. The front desk staff were knowledgeable and helpful in giving directions and recommendations. We did opt to include breakfast in our reservation. This included a basket of breads and croissants, a bowl of citrus fruits, and beverage. The lobby, although small, is welcoming and warm. We were happy with our stay.

Fantastic location, family room, very quiet, helpful staff, close to metro and most beautiful park in Paris!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Sainte-Beuve. The hotel staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We had the family suite (2 adjoining rooms) and both rooms were stylish and very clean. We enjoyed the interesting decor. You can tell that the owner and staff members take pride in their hotel. We appreciated the hotel making the arrangements for the car transfer to the airport which we arranged the day before. It was also nice that they emailed a list of recommendations after we filled out their survey prior to our stay. The hotel is on a quiet side street in a nice area of Paris with several metro stations very close by and Gare Montparnasse and Luxembourg Gardens just a few blocks away. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights at the end of a 3 week trip and it was a really nice way to end our vacation. I would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was great. The hotel was clean but as is the case in most European rooms, small. The staff was very accommodating. The lobby is inviting where we hung out with our family that was staying in another room of the hotel. The hotel is very close to the #12 metro line which made it very easy to get around Paris. There is a mini market and pharmacy essentially next door as well as walking distance to a variety of restaurants and pubs.

Our room family style room was perfect and beautiful. We had one balcony window opening to a side street and the other bedroom opening to side of hotel. We had two adjoining rooms given our young adult daughters joined us on our trip Each room was a perfect size and beautifully adorned — I cannot complain because I’d take beautiful boutique versus big hotel anytime. The entire stay was just charming— staff was so friendly, accommodating, fand helped whenever asked. Breakfast was delicious too. I cannot wait to return to the St-Bueve

Amandine and her staff leave no point untouched! Excellent, professional, and friendly. They felt like family. We have a new “go-to” destination hotel in Paris!
