Hotel Oratio

I had higher hopes for this hotel to be honest. It appeared to be a cute boutique hotel, but it was very small, did not feel clean, the ceiling had water stains, and the walls were VERY thin. My family and I were woken up throughout the night by the neighbors being intimate very loudly several times, slamming doors, and the church bells ringing for a minute straight at 8:40 every morning. There were homeless men outside doing drugs, which didn’t feel safe. I do have to say the location is great, very walkable for Notre Dame and most of the sights in Paris. The front desk staff were amazing and very helpful. Great boulangerie around the corner. Loved La Petite Périgourdine that was within walking distance.

The family room served us perfectly. Two twin beds and one double. Not very big, but that seems standard for European travel.

Clean rooms and great space for our family of 4 (two teenagers). We got the family room which was two rooms with two bathrooms! Amazing! The rooms were not “really” connected, but it was absolutely perfect for us. There was a door leading to both rooms and a small hallway, then each room had their own doors. Location, cost, cleanliness, and space was excellent. I highly recommend.
