Abbatial Saint Germain

My wife and I just stayed in this hotel for about 5 nights and can't say enough about the property and location. We found two great restaurants and several shops and patisserie's within a 2 minute walk from the front door. Not to mention Notre Dame is about a 5 minute walk. The metro is right next door, which is also a huge plus. The hotel was clean and the staff was great. Rooms were small but typical of Paris hotel rooms. The hotel bathrooms were redone recently and looked brand new. The free WiFi was huge for us being able to skype with our family in the U.S. and we never had any issues with it. The only downside to our stay was some painting being done in the hallways but it was only during the week and the painters were cordial doing whatever they could to get out of our way. There was no paint smell in the guest rooms either so that was nice. Front desk staff was always nice and helpful. It's a great hotel if you are looking for a clean and comfortable property that's close to great local restaurants, shops and the metro.
