Hôtel Excelsior Opéra

As you can find its location on map, it has very comfortable condition for transportation and shopping (Galeries La Fayette), and safety of course. Rooms are clean and have good city view. There were some sound and vibration from subway, but it was not so disturbing though. Every members of my family said this hotel was the best for sleep during family travel.

Hotel Excelsior Opera was an excellent hotel for our family. The reception team are fantastic, friendly and very helpful! The rooms are huge and provide free daily bottles of water, coffee and tea. The room was very clean and bed was so comfortable. The room had and opening door onto a little balcony which was really cute. The location of the hotel was fantastic, so close to the Metro, train station and lots of great shops. Also if you want a great meal, go to The Family restaurant close to the hotel, it’s great! Thanks for a really enjoyable stay!!

Staff like family .always there to answer questions and help you . Location to shopping amazing Roissy bus to airport around corner Very clean and safe . They will email before you travel asking what you would like ? Like restaurants , sites ect We will stay there again . Great location !

Easy access to train stations and Dining restaurants as well as Malls. Staff are great! Thanks to John or Jean, the one that checked my family in around 2pm last Tuesday, Nov.22. Room has a lovely view of the city. Also thanks to that kind gentleman/staff at 7am on Nov.29 for calling a taxi for us going to the airport, Wonderful customer service!

What a lovely find in the Opera/9th arr! Able to comfortably fit our family of 5 in 2 rooms (3 beds each room) in this updated but quaint hotel. The staff was absolutely wonderful--so friendly and kind. They really went above and beyond to help us with recommendations, suggestions and happily kept our luggage after checkout so we could continue to enjoy our time in Paris. I would highly recommend this great hotel!

The location of this hotel is amazing with Palais Garnier being a five minute walk from the hotel. The nearest metro station is also a stone throw away, around 100 meters, and from there you are no more than 15-20 minutes away from all the major tourist attractions. Overall the hotel is in need of some renovation to make it look modern and fresh, as it does feel dated at the moment. Also found the room to be in slightly small, but I guess this is expected for a city center, and a 3 star hotel. As my family and I were hardly in the hotel during the day the above did not bother us, as we only went back to sleep and freshen up. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful which made our stay even more special!
