Hôtel Edouard 7 Paris Opéra

Absolutely amazing! Great location, beautiful room and outstanding customer service! Wonderful dinner recommendations from concierge. Incredibly quiet for being on busy street. It was recommended very highly to us by family and it did not disappoint!! I have already recommended it to friends going to Paris next year!

There was a hole in the bathroom wall. Dust on the night stands. They charged me 16 euros for a small bag of chips and soda. It’s INSANE! They didn’t give me a king size bed. They have me two twins which constantly separate causing a gap between them. There are other issues too. You want pictures ? This star rating they claimed is a joke! They wanted me to pay extra because I didn’t want a room by the elevator! Fried eggs are extra for the breakfast! Are you kidding me?

This is a charming hotel in the heart of the city that lives up to one's romanticized images of life in Paris -- charming balcony from which to watch the liveliness of Avenue de l'Opera; abundant bistros, brasseries, restaurants and chocolatiers in the immediate neighborhood for exploration of French culinary delights; short walking distance to Opera Garnier, Galeries Lafayette, and many other stores for culture and shopping. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The junior room we booked is spacious, beautifully decorated, and luxurious. it was a perfect stay. The only thing I'd warn is that one can hear the metro trains running directly underground, and feel the slight rattling, but one quickly gets used to it.

Would highly recommend it to friends and family. Staff was always attentive and helpful when called upon, and the accommodations were very nice as well.
