Hôtel Edouard 6

I was really happy with this hotel. The rates were affordable compared to other hotels, and I was worried that there was a catch, but there really was not. Really nice staff, bedrooms were clean, updated, cute decor, clean bathrooms. I enjoyed the fact that there were other amenities in the room that you wouldn’t expect from small hotels like a mini fridge and a water kettle with coffee and tea. The rooms are pretty small so not a lot of extra space but it was fine for two people. There was also an elevator. Also the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable which is hard to find sometimes in hotels, slept like a baby every night, and I usually have insomnia. The location was amazing for the metro, especially lines 4, 12, and 13. There were a lot of great brasseries all over the Montparnasse district and several right below the hotel that were absolutely delicious and always bustling. Somehow the noise didn’t reach the rooms either. There’s plenty of boulangerie’s around for breakfast so we did not pay for the hotel breakfast. And there’s also plenty of great shopping nearby. I was so happy to have found this hotel on Expedia and found a cheaper rate- there were no issues at all with our stay and I found this area to be a perfect central location to explore Paris as a tourist.
