Novotel Paris La Défense Esplanade

The security people - extreme aggressiveness. They made my family feeling that we are in a war zone and not in the most beautiful capital of Europe.

Excellent location, few mins to M1 station, nice and clean room, good river view with Eiffel Tower, welcome gift for small kids, standard hotel buffet breakfast, the only feedback is the ventilation of the room could improved, it’s a bit weak

The location of this hotel and the price make this a good choice. It was reasonable well maintained but of course a chain hotel so did not have Parisian feel. Staff were helpful and friendly. The nearby Metro and one stop on line 1 to suburban trains made travelling around easy. Hotel evening meal expensive but food was fair but not too exciting. Nice pull out sofa bed for child that made the room even more of a bargain. Bathroom was practical but no plug in sink as it was even connected. TV didn't work but seeing as we were visiting Paris and didn't spend too much time in the room then we didn't even bother report it. Free internet in lobby was useful. Didn't make use of any other facilities.

The hotel was ideally situated for all Paris attractions , Metro 100 metres away 10 minutes on the metro to famous landmarks.Myself and wife with our 2 grandchildren aged 10 and 11 found this hotel a brilliant choice. Excellent views of the river seine,Eiffel Tower and Sacre Cour which were lit up at night.Easy to get to disneyland just get on metro change to R.E.R. Line A takes you right into disney 45 mins.Resturant was pricey but theres a subway shop 2 mins behind hotel. We would use this hotel again

We stayed at this hotel for our first visit to Paris and we stayed with our 2 children (10 and 14 years) and it was absolutely fine. Does exactly what it says on the tin, safe location albeit a business area, clean hotel and friendly efficient staff. Didn't take breakfast so cant comment 16 Euro but children are apparently free. Ideal for the metro - 2 minutes walk. The metro can also take you to the next station up (La Defense) which is the RER A line (which can take you directly to Disneyland Paris). Hotel is ideal for both visiting Paris and Disney which we did. We also asked for and got a non smoking room with a view of the Eiffel Tower and the rest of Paris. No complaints. The kids beds were 2 fold down singles from the one sofa bed unit. Would stay there again and would recommend it without any problems.
