Lovely family room for our one night stay on New Year’s Eve. Very helpful staff in a beautiful chateau.

Conveniently close to the motorway but in a quiet situation the hotel was ideal for our overnight stay. Checking was simple and quick. Our family room spacious and clean. The decor was beautiful, as one would expect from such a grand building. We dined in the evening and found the menu reasonably priced and food excellent. Breakfast, which started early was lovely with a wide variety of choices. Highly recommended, we will come again!

The staff were v pleasant and helpful. We dined in all three of the hotel's restaurants and found the food to be v good, delicious and tasty, albeit q rich, but it was a holiday! The location is ok, there were no nearby restaurants to try that we could find, a slight disadvantage. There was a wedding on the Saturday night, always a possible trial for hotel guests. Inconsiderate wedding guests let their children runaround shouting in the gardens till 1.30 am, not good for those trying to sleep! The breakfast, whilst good, was q expensive, 18 euros even if you wanted just a croissant and coffee. Our room, 102, was nice but a noisy rumbling noise was a constant. We complained after two nights and were promptly moved for the final night. The noise was the kitchen extractor fan, which was on all the time. All in all a good hotel which we would recommend with a few caveats.
