Looks much better in the pictures, we had a family room and it was tiny, we had trouble moving about, no space to put luggage and the stairs very steep

Nice hotel directly on the beach, walkable to St Malo walled town (about 15-20 min walk). Family room has a loft with 2 twin beds but the stairs are narrow and steep so a bit scary to have the kids walk down at night should they need to use the bathroom which is downstairs. Also absolutely impossible to cool down the loft space - no A/C vents up there, so no matter how cold you make it, the cold air doesn’t reach the loft. The only way to cool the upstairs area is to open the skylight assuming the air outside is not too hot and that you can sleep when the sun shines through it in the morning. We asked the reception for a fan but were told they didn’t have any suitable ones.
