Great water front view, no kids running around, perfect for quiet night.

Stay from July 13th to July 17th. GPH definitely has room for improvement in their hospitality department. Staff do not take initiative nor do they offer answers when you ask them questions as simple as menus. Their communication style is not friendly so lacks some personality to be desired. We ordered the most expensive eggs and grilled bacon that should have been cheaper then their overall breakfast. 2 scrambled eggs cost $15.00 and a few pieces of grilled bacon and small hot chocolate to go was $29.00 so breakfast was $44 for a child. When I tried to ask that it didnt make sense, the staff pushed back that is how their system has it. Interestingly enough, was in the lobby with friends talking and had the front desk come by to ask us to lower our conversation because guests were sleeping however the music by the bar team was on and louder to hear so again, question the staffs and their judgement on when to raise concerns. Housekeeping requests takes longer(needed plugs for converters and had to ask several times before we finally got it) Be on alert of the cabs and rates-all rates should start at $2.00 for day runs and $3.00 for evening which would be after 6pm, cab drivers tried to cheat us on the fares not knowing I would be aware of starting meter rate, hotel should ensure driver has it set correct before having guests to sit in the cab. Hotel is at a good location of the city. I liked that water was complimentary as well.

The breakfast restaurant staff did not come across as very welcoming. We had to keep asking to be provided simple things like cutlery & baby high chair etc. It seems they were understaffed and the exisiting staff couldn’t meet all customer expectations. Was very disappointed at this poor level of customer service in the restaurant.

High quality and healthy buffet breakfast like fine dining. Very clean and friendly staffs. In general, this is one of the best accommodation that we stayed in Fiji except they didn’t have much activities or facilities for kids.

This was a short visit from our overall Fiji trip. We booked the hotel for one night to see some family and friends. The room was clean and had great views out to the harbour. Hotel is very conveniently located and literally a walk across to the sights and museum. The only comment I would like to make is around booking the restaurant within the hotel. We wanted to host our family and friends, a group of 14 for dinner at the hotel while we were in Suva. We tried to book the hotel restaurant unsuccessfully (4 times); via the Contact Us page, email to the F&B manager as I was suggested via phone, a call to the F&B manager's mobile. In the end, we gave up and booked another local restaurant because we ran out of time to wait for any reply. It is a shame, because we loved our stay and wanted to enjoy the full experience of being at the hotel. I hope that next time things will be different, as we intend to stay with the hotel again in the future.

Very nice hotel. Very friendly. Well kept. Great location. The rooms are very nice, but the bathroom was a little bit odd for me the way it was exposed to the rest of the room. Not family-friendly that way, but a nice bathroom overall. Good food good buffet for breakfast.

Dirty bathroom, bath towels. Soap and lotion dispensers do not work . We sat down to eat breakfast and when we went to get our food out tables were taken away and given to another family . It took a good 20 Miniatures to find another table .
